FAQs
Telehealth video calls are made using HIPAA-compliant platforms that do not record any real-time video or audio content from your visit. We encourage you to use earbuds or headphones for additional privacy and to make sure that you are in a location where you will not be interrupted or overheard.
Telehealth versus office visits.
Telehealth or teletherapy is offered by all of our clinicians. Carol Anderson provides telehealth sessions in SC, FL, OH, and TX. Doreen Vosburg provides telehealth services to adults living in SC, MN, ND, and WA. Jessica Sellers provides telehealth to children and adolescents living in SC. Both Doreen and Jessica offer office appointments if needed.
What to expect from a telehealth visit.
What are the office hours?
Why isn't anyone answering the phone?
This is a clinician-run office. There is no support staff, receptionist, or assistant. During office hours our clinicians are with clients. Please text or leave a message and one of us will reach out at the first opportunity. Remember that we must practice self-care and are not available at all times.
Official office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am-6:00 pm. Each clinician sets their own schedules and some may work evenings or weekends.
Do you accept insurance?
How much does it cost?
Yes, a list of those accepted can be found on the Services page. We will file your insurance but you are responsible for all deductibles, co-insurances, or out-of-network fees at the time of services. Know your rights under The No Surprises Act.
A standard session is 53-55 minutes. The initial visit is $200 and those after are $150. Those are the out-of-pocket fees for service. Insurance sets different rates based on policy and plan.
Telehealth or teletherapy is just like therapy provided in an office but in the privacy of your home or another private location you've chosen. This will involve discussion of sensitive topics and may be very emotional for you so make sure that the space is private and that you will not be interrupted. This is for your protection as well as the protection of others. Dress as you would for an office visit.
